Once driven and mauled by Sean “007” Connery, the Jaguar is one of the classiest brands of vehicles out there. Waiting in the wings of the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Jaguar C-X16 concept car might just put the British manufacturer in pole position at this year’s who’s-who of rides. Looking every bit as luxurious and sleek as anything we’d expect from the Coventry engineers, with its aluminum gray finish so glossy you could probably get a tan off it, the C-X16 will be rolling off the Castle Bromwich assembly line in 2 years’ time. Until then though, here are some photos, with the specs to follow after the jump:The C-X16 is a two-seat hybrid that will get you where you to your destination at up to 186 mph, of 50 mph if you go full-on electric. It’s fitted with a 3.0 L V6 engine that can really deliver a jump from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds flat, and the relative compactness of the body – 14.5 feet long, 6.7 feet wide and 4.3 feet tall – is sure to bump up the aerodynamics.
